The analysis of graphs is what i will use to create my magazine cover, contents page and double page spread. This is because i want my magazine to fit in with my chosen genre however it is key that i meet the needs and wants of my target audience too therefore i must pay careful consideration to my questionnaire analysis.

Evaluation

This is the research on my chosen genre which is hip hop, by analysing these three popular magazines i have gathered that i will use a range of 3-4 colours including red, black and white. I decided to use these colours as all three magazines used this colour plus the colours have connotations of blood, power, darkness and purity. These are all significent themes that surround hip hop and rap. The main image is a probably one of the most significent areas of the front cover, the magazines i analysed used medium shots and the facial expression, appearance and postion are all important in conveying the ideas of hip hop/ rap. The coverlines are alligned to the left or right, more important cover lines are usually in the same colour as the masthead or larger font. Last but not least is the use of language, as we can see it is not fully formal as hip hop and rap follows the strong use of slang. I will use all these features to develop my front cover for mt magazine.
